They are headquartered in Columbus, GA - so off we go! So many people have been asking questions so here are all the details!
- STEP 1 - we put our house on the market, because I can't move down until our house sells!
- STEP 2 - Buy a car! We have been so blessed for Chuck to have a company car - brand new Chevrolet (Avalanches and this year a Traverse) every year for 5 years! But now, we have to buy a 2nd car....the hunt has NOT been fun. Stay tuned to see what we find this weekend!
- Chuck will start June 1st and will drive down to Columbus and stay work there a few days a week until our house sells (pray, pray, pray!)
- Baby Flannagan will be born in Atlanta - no move before delivery day
- Worried about me having to deal with a move with a newborn? No worries - AFLAC is packing, moving and unpacking us! Sweet deal huh?!
- NEXT BIG STEP after our house sells - buy a house in Columbus! I've already set my eye on my dream house - so let's pray it doesn't sell before we get a contract on ours!
That's a little bit of information and hopefully answers some of your questions! My last day at Limetree will be June 5th! I am definitely ready to put my feet up and get things ready for the baby! No more decorating though - once I get my bedding next week...it's going to be the basics until we move.
I am a little overwhelmed with all of this considering I am 7 1/2 months pregnant, but God's hand is totally in this and I really believe that he has prepared Chuck and I for this. My main concern and prayer is that we can find a great deal on a car this weekend and that our house will sell quick! I don't want to be in Atlanta too long with a new baby and Chuck still going down Columbus (it will be way harder on Chuck than me and lil bit!). Honestly, the most difficult part about all of this is the fact that just this year I have finally felt settled...we have the cutest house and them most amazing friends. We are finally plugged in to a church that I am in LOVE with and my friends and small group there are INCREDIBLE! AND - I have finally been able to sing again and lead worship at church which I have waited for so long to do! But I know that I will be able to find the same peace in Columbus - just have to start all over :).
I am so proud of Chuck and know that God has prepared us "for such a time as this".
