Why am I loving today? 2 reasons...
1. Turquoise! People - I have been in denial for 2 years since I lost my favorite chunky turquoise necklace. I mean, my staple plain tshirt just isn't the same without it. But last week after we moved I was so frustrated the dresser drawer wouldn't shut that I took the drawer out and found all sorts of TREASURES that had fallen down in the dresser over the years - the best treasurer being my NECKLACE! So today - i am happy to wear my bff again!
2. Lunch date with the hubs (and lil' man of course!). Still not sure about this whole move thing - but a BIG positive is being able to do lunch with Chuck! SO FUN!
And just to balance it out - let me share two things I DON'T like about today. Let's face it people...I probably don't blog enough about how my life is not so perfect...
1. Don't have a girlfriend to go get dessert / coffee with yet. It will come...and I feel like it will come faster than I thought!!! (Some of you Columbus girls have been nothing but AHHHHWESOME!)
2. Toy Strike! Seriously, lil man seems to not like ANY of his toys right now which makes for a whiny baby (and lets be honest...his whiny isn't even that bad!). Any tips on how to entertain a 10 month old?! Send help my way! We really haven't bought many toys since he has been born since we were blessed with SO many at showers...but I think we are almost in a whole new stage that requires different toys!

I just bought a pair of turquoise wedges and they are awesome.
But, not as awesome as you. I'd stick you in my pocket and take you to dessert with me if I could!

My baby is 10 wks old, but my M-I-L told me to this...she said put away a few of their toys without them noticing. Then when they get tired of playing with the ones they have, pull out the toys that you put away and it is like a new toy, and so on!!
The crawl ball? Do you have that?
PS, when I first moved to F-Ville I would literally go up to people on the street downtown and ask them to be my friend. Also, look up columbus baby groups online, I bet you could meet some mama's that way.

so happy you found your necklace! isn't that a great feeling! I am looking for something in this house too - I know its HERE! A blow up mattress! hope to find it one day! Take out your pots/pans/tupperware - babies like to play with that stuff!!
An empty diaper box....Drake could play with that four hours (well not really hours...but for a while!) OR a calculator. Lots of buttons!!
Is 10 months old to early to get a wii? just saying...... getting him started on rock band could turn him into a musical genius baby!
