SAHM = busy...busy...busy...

Being a SAHM (stay at home mom) is great, but BOY do we stay busy. Chuck will come home and ask what I have done all day and I really have no clue! But I definitely haven't been sitting on my booty being lazy. I clean, do laundy & dishes, organize, clean out, cook, shop, oh wait - more laundry...it never ends! WHO KNEW! But I wouldn't trade my new job for anything in the world. It is all worth it for those smiles I get to see everyday from my bundle of joy!

So...we've been doing LOTS the past two weeks...here are some highlights!

Our old small group from Buckhead church now has babies galore!! When our small group split almost 2 years ago there were no babies...now there are 4 and two on the way. It was GREAT to get together while the Teagues were in town from Seattle! We love all of you dearly!

Chuck had to go out of town unexpectedly for work and I was leading worship at church while he was gone...and I just needed some help with Knox on Sunday - so we flew my mom in!!! It was SOOOO great having Mimi here. She is seriously the biggest help in the whole world - not to mention a baby whisperer. She should have a show on TV!

Mimi got Knox to smile more than he ever has AND he even GIGGLED really loudly and for several seconds with her! I LOVE IT!

Today we had a play date at my house! Two of my good friends had babies 3 days apart...and a month later Knox was born! So it was time for everyone to meet! I made a yummy lunch - grilled pesto & havarti cheese sandwiches and homemade tomato basil soup! It was the perfect lunch for an unbelievably gorgeous fall day...with amazing friends and cute little babies! Ellie Cate, Riordan & Knox had fun playing on the floor together...
