Call me chef...Chef Terri!

I have to be honest...I think I made the best meal I have ever cooked last night (which really isn't saying alot, friends.) AND - I think it will now be a NEW YEARS DAY dinner tradition which is exciting!

Tell me this doesn't make your mouth water?!
It's SHRIMP & GRITS! Thank you to my amazing friend, Anna, I had the confidence to make this dish. She had made it for us when we visited her and Brad in Greenville last time. I used her recipe, but also got some ideas from my dear friend GOOGLE and put a spin on it. I also made the most yummy grits and cheese biscuits (again, thanks Anna!) to go with the meal. Oh, and we had a delicious wine paired with dinner to top it all off. It was so fun to cook a good meal for my in-laws because they are ALWAYS cooking amazing things for us.
If you've never made Shrimp & Grits - go for it. Prepare all your stuff earlier in the day, get your game face on and do it. Your husband will thank you!
