i miss being able to recite scripture. i used to have many verses memorized thanks to Bible Drill (state champ right here!) and all my many moments spent at p-wood (that is prestonwood for your non dallas peeps). anyways, i have decided that this is the year i will memorize some of Gods word. i have not set a lofty goal...1 a month, but i hope to do more. to help, i am using my plate in the kitchen. one verse stays up until i have it memorized. i also have the same verse in my planner which clearly i look at that several times a day, therefore i see the verse.

I love the idea of the verse plate for memorization!
And I had to comment and tell you I was a state champ at Bible Drill too!!! I did it for years!!! :-)
