We went to see Dr. Garcia yesterday and everything went very well. It took them a minute to find the heartbeat which made Chuck and I very nervous, but once they found it, the heartbeat was very 138!! We go back in 4 weeks, Feb 18th...for probably our last sonogram. So sad. I cant' wait to see our little one! But...we will NOT be finding out if it is a boy or a girl.
So many of our friends and family can't believe we aren't going to find out, but Chuck and I are on cloud 9 about not knowing. We think this is so crazy, but so much fun at the same time. Every day we each change our mind about whether we think it is a boy or a girl. I have NO clue what this little babe is!!! The next question people will ask after they ask if we are going to find out what sex the baby is....is....Do you have a preference? Honestly? We just want a healthy baby, but if you want a little more "dirt" I will put it this way...
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a mom. When people ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?", really...I have always said I would just love to be a mom! I have always imagined being a mom of boys. And not only that, I have always hoped that my first child would be a boy so it could be a "big brother". I am very close to my big bro and would love to have a little girl that could share that same kind of bond. HOWEVER, my niece (she will be one next week...) somehow has changed my mind on the whole "boy" thing I have always wanted - Millie Kate has captured my heart and I would love a little girl now...they would be bestest friends :). Can I brag for a second? She is the cutest thing ever!!! See for yourself...
Anyways - who knows if this little bundle of joy will be a boy or a girl - I just can't wait! What do you think it's going to be??!!!

Oh she is C-U-T-E! Ok, I love that you aren't finding out! I'm going to guess boy since the heartbeat was low. That is totally a wives tale and it wasn't true in our case b/c Brody's hb was very fast like 164 most appointments, but still. I think I am guessing boy because I loved cheetos and my good friend ate cheetos her whole pregnancy and she had a boy too! Weird reason, I know!
ok---I thought it would have been Kyndall and Sterling that made you want a girl too!!! JUST KIDDING!!! And by the way I looked HOT in my taffeta and pouffy sleeves!!!
