Today is someone's birthday...

YAY!!! Today is Chucks 28th birthday and I have had a blast getting ready for it.  Now that there is a baby in the future - it makes me start to think about how I want to do gifts for holidays and birthdays.  I made a decision that since Christmas is one of those holidays you have to buy for so many people...and more importantly, the reason and story behind the season - I think that as a family we should scale down the Christmas gifts.  BUT I think birthdays should be a HUGE deal!!! It is the one day a year it is all about you!  So I had so much fun getting gifts for Chuck, small...thoughtful...fun and big :).  I had all his presents ready to go before he got home and I also got him a cupcake with a candle (I would have got a key lime pie, but our bakery doesn't make them - how crazy is that?).

And here is what the lucky boy opened!!! Ok, and I must brag a little...not pictured was the best gift of all - THE University of Tennessee panoramic of Neyland Stadium (matted & framed).  He already took it to his office and hung it up where he can look at it all the time!

Lastly, I must share with your our first tummy pic - 12 1/2 weeks now!  There is definitely no buttoning of my pants anymore and all I will say is something besides my tummy is growing at astronomical rates...not happy about this one.

Off to watch the National Championship...(of course Chuck hit the nail on the head in calling that I would be asleep by the end of the first quarter!!)
