Texlahoma!!!

Hey peeps - it's Knox here! Mama and me are having so much fun and we have been here almost 2 weeks. We sure miss daddy though and can't wait to see him very soon. I have spent alot of time being held by family and meeting many of mama's friends. I haven't gotten alot of rest though because mama has me "on the go" with her constantly!!!

We spent the first week and a half in Texas and stayed with Mimi and Papa Roy and then with Aunt Tor Tor, Uncle Meigs, Kiki and SterBer! They all love me so much and take such good care of me. They even let Mama go out at night and play with her friends. Here are some highlights of our time in Texas!!! Mama was REALLY lazy the first week and forgot to get her camera out and take pics with Mimi and Papa Roy and the Millers (sorry family - good thing we have alot more time for pics!)
(old friends Andrea & Katie from Prestonwood)
(FINALLY taking a bottle again, guess I can go to Vegas after all!)
(girls night at Glorias...many of my favorite girls all together for one night! SO FUN! - SHOUT out to my two besties who drove in from ARKANSAS to see me and lil man!)
(my EEE's...always showin' the love!)

Now we are in Oklahoma all week spending time with Uncle Bubba, Aunt Jeni, Jack and Millie Kate! Here are pics of our time so far -

(Jacks indoor soccer game!)
(hanging with Miss MK in the car!)
(Jack & lil man - i hope they have are as close as brothers some day!)
(does it get cuter? nope.)

UPDATE - one month? you mean ONE YEAR?!

UPDATE - You gotta love typos. After reading your comment, Katie, I noticed I said Chuck said i could by ANYTHING! However, what was supposed to be funny is that I packed so much he said I could NOT by ANYTHING because it wouldn't fit...that's why i said he is crazy. Can I really be in Dallas and not buy a thing? Hello - Samoons....duh! I at least have to buy a little jewelry! So funny!

People - this is my car...packed for Texas for me and Knox - yep just the two of us (Chuck has an itty bitty suit case for the weekend).
Am I embarrased?

Maybe.

Did I take out three tops before I piled all the hang up clothes in the car?

Yes.

Did it even help?

Nope.

Did Chuck tell me I can buy ANYTHING while I am in Texas or when we go to Vegas...

Yep.

Is he crazy?

HECK YES!

Modeling...it was fun, but not my calling!

I was asked by the owner of a local maternity boutique and an AMAZING photographer that I have gotten to know at church...to model "nursing wear" for a new nursing clothing / product website! So...here are some of the pics from the shoot.

PS - If you are in Atlanta and need some maternity clothes - you MUST go check out Due Maternity. They carry all the amazing maternity lines and these are clothes that I wish came in NON maternity sizes because they are so stinkin' cute!

If you are in need of an unbelievable photographer in Atlanta (Smyrna / Vinings)...look no further. Libbie Wicket Photography by Elizabeth Smith is one of the most talented, patient, kind and genuine people / photographers you could meet! And her work is ridiculous good.

Vinings Lake

Have I mentioned how much I love my church? Oh wait, yep I think I have. I am unbelievably blessed to call this church home and will be SO sad to leave it at some point down the road when we move our life to Columbus. We have an amazing group of friends that are the most uplifting and encouraging people. They also constantly keep me laughing and smiling.

It is such a privilege to help engage people in worship on Sundays and without fail, I leave on Sundays richly blessed and challenged to glorify God in new ways. Getting to know the band has been amazing - and some of my favorite parts of the week are practicing with them and getting to know about their lives and hearts.

I am so moved when a group of people can come together with one voice and sing to Holy and Mighty Father. Isn't it amazing how a worship song can move and stir your heart and speak to you like nothing else?

Anyways, I'm not sure VL is replaceable, but I know that God will help Chuck and I find a new church home...and hopefully there will be an outlet where I can continue to lead worship.

BUT - for now...I will keep singing at VL :). We opened today with Natalie Grant's "Perfect People" for part 3 or the series NO PERFECT PEOPLE!
By the way - this has been a GREAT series at VL and you can check out the podcasts at www.viningslake.org. Come join us LIVE any Sunday :)

(enjoy the video....this is for my family!)

1 down...2 to go!

One fall holiday down (Halloween)...2 to go! We leave for Texas on Thursday night and lil' man and I will be there until the beginning of December! Crazy huh. Chuck will be in and out of Atlanta all month so we decided we'd go and play with family and friends back home. I am SOOO excited! We will have lots of free time so if anyone wants to get together - let me know!

For now - I leave you with pics from last night! I am so lucky to have family here in Atlanta to spend holidays with! This year...we went from 4 kids...to 7 with the addition of my lil' man the week and a half old TWINS! So fun!
